Introduction

Advertising Analytics Ltd takes the privacy of its users seriously. We value the confidentiality of the information which you provide when registering and contracting through our website. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users while providing a personalised and valuable service. This Privacy Policy Statement explains the data processing practices we have adopted and our approach to complying with the data protection laws that apply within the United Kingdom, to safeguard your privacy. If you have any requests concerning your personal information or any queries with regard to these practices please contact Chetan Kaher by email at info@advertisinganalyticsltd.co.uk.

How information is collected

In this section we set out:

• The general categories of data we process
• The personal data obtained through the services provided by Advertising Analytics
• The purpose why we process personal data
• Legal bases of the processing

2.1Personal information is collected by Advertising Analytics Ltd upon registration and signing Advertising Analytics Ltd’s contract terms. We collect personal information from our users through the use of enquiry and registration forms and every time you email us your details. We also collect information automatically about your visit to our site. The information obtained in this way, which includes demographic data and browsing patterns, is only used in aggregate form.

2.2We may process data about your clients’ use of your website and services (“usage data”). The usage data may include your clients’ IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about timing, frequency and pattern of their service use. The source of the usage data is the Mediahawk analytics tracking system. This data may be processed for the purpose of analysing your clients’ use of your website and services. The legal basis for this processing is consent or legitimate interest, monitoring and improving website and services. As a Processor, Advertising Analytics captures its Controllers’ incoming calls and records them on a platform for them to use. Each Controller has their own access to the platform, which is restricted with a username and password, and each username has access controlled depending on their level within the Controller company, as set by the Controller company.

The data captured by the Processor is as follows:

• Incoming calls and recordings of the calls from customers, identifying their telephone number. This data is used to allow the Controller to track call trends and for their own marketing purposes.
• Each client can choose not to have their calls used for this purpose, and the call can be deleted from the system at any time or not recorded at all.

2.3We may also process your account data. This data may include your name, email address and company information. The source of the data is you providing us with those details during registration. The purpose of processing this type of data is to operate our website, provide our services to you and your clients, maintain backups, ensure security and communicate with you. The legal basis for this processing is consent or our legitimate interests, correct administration of our website and business, or the performance of a contract between you and us and you and your clients.

2.4We may process information relating to financial activities including purchasing of goods and services we provide and your monthly fees. The transaction data may include your contact details, your card details and the transaction details. This data is processed for the purpose of supplying you with the services we provide and keeping proper records of those transactions. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract between you and us.

Use of cookies

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. The cookies do not contain any personal information about users. We use telephone tracking numbers to link a user’s call to the marketing channel that they originated from. This is done using cookies, and you can choose to decline cookies if you would prefer not to be tracked. We record calls for training and monitoring purposes. To find more information about cookies, manage or delete the cookies on your devices, please visit: allaboutcookies.org.
